This patient had reached a Norwood 3 level of hair loss. He was hoping to achieve a linear scar free outcome that would look appropriate for his age, without creating a very drastic looking change. He wanted to achieve better coverage and a more attractive looking hairline to frame his face.
For this conservative hairline restoration, Dr.U used 3500 grafts. To see if he could qualify for the use of nape and periauricular hair, the patient underwent a screening assessment developed by Dr.U known as the FUE Shave Test. These finer hairs were safely extracted using Dr.UGraft technology and inserted in the vanguard edges of the hairline and temples to create a softer and more natural looking border.
