This patient had an open septorhinoplasty for the treatment of a dorsal hump and lack of tip support. She had a conservative reduction at the glabella as well as she wanted to maintain a prominent dorsal profile without the hump. Her concern was with retaining balance to her face and not over-reduction of her nasal features. We also discussed genioplasty with her to help balance her chin prominence and she has decided to pursue that as a secondary procedure in the future. As you can see, she has a straight dorsal profile without over resection and a better-balanced tip complex with her overall facial features. Her breathing is dramatically improved and she is able to now stop and smell roses.
