Any significant changes in your breasts should be evaluated by your surgeon. An ultrasound can reveal if your implant is still intact or if it has ruptured. Your surgeon will advise how to proceed based on the findings of the exam.

You do show asymmetry of the folds in your preoperative photos but it does appear that you are beginning to bottom out. Visit with your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Surgery would be needed in order to correct this.

Is it possible that my implant has ruptured form a chiropractic adjustment?

It is unlikely that your implant ruptured from your chiropractic treatment. Your capsule, which is made of scar tissue, may be responsible for what you felt. If in doubt you can visit with your plastic surgeon for an evaluation.

I am a smoker - why can I not have implants?

You can be a smoker and have implants, but you must refrain from smoking for several weeks prior to and after your surgery. Nicotine constricts blood vessels and can lead to issues with healing such as infections, poor wound healing, and necrosis. This is any type of nicotine, not just smoking. So that includes patches, nicotine gum, etc. THC also needs to be avoided.

575cc moderate plus silicone implants. Does this size seem appropriate?

An in person evaluation is needed to know for sure, but a 575cc implant on your petite frame may very well be too large and make you appear top heavy. Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to help you get a feel for how you will look after surgery. That may be helpful in your case.

It's difficult to determine a specific size for you without examining you and discussing your goals. However you have tried 385cc and thought it was too small, and now know 650cc is much too large, so it makes sense to meet somewhere in the middle which is what you are considering in the 485cc implant. Because your occupation includes long flights, long periods on your feet, and lifting you may need to consider 5 or 6 weeks. You will have lifting restrictions in place of no more than 10 pounds for the first six weeks. Your surgeon will advise what is best for you based on your surgical plan.
