This 38 year old patient came in for a consultation to discuss options to rejuvenate her appearance. Her main concern were the bags under her eyes. Upon examination I found she had psuedoherniation of the fat pads on both lids. In addition, she had some malar ptosis and descent and flattening of her malar area. After discussing the benefits and drawbacks of surgical versus non-surgical options, she decided to undergo a bilateral transconjunctival blepharoplasty and 2.8 ccs of Artefill (now called BellaFill) were used to restore volume in her malar region.
