Typically, I inform patients that they should avoid touching or putting pressure on the sites Botox was injected for four hours following the procedure. A facial massage should be held off for at least twenty four hours following your Botox injection. After that you don’t need to worry as the Botox has had time to fully absorb. Any pain or lumps you have at the injection sites 48 hours after are likely from bruising which is common and will subside in a few days to a week…
