What laser treatments for 4 year old tummy tuck scar with no lax skin for revision?
Tummy tuck scars
Apr 27, 2020
I would suggest chemical peels and Fraxel laser. Microneedling with PRP might help as well.
You can also try some creams like Hydroxquinone 4%.
Hope this helps
Indented vertical line on my forehead, spreading into more lines. Please help! I have an idea but hop
Line in Forehead
Apr 27, 2020
Hi,
This can be a simple wrinkle that gets worse over time. It all depends on your age as well. Does any of your parents carry same line ??
This also can be one of the very rare diseases , but I would rule out common ones first.
Hope this helps
Is it normal to feel bumps in my lips 2 years after having filler?
Bumps in lips after fillers
Apr 27, 2020
Recent studies are showing that some residuals from HA and other fillers persist way longer than what we previously believed. If the bumps you are feeling are HA then Hyaluronidase might help. It can also be a granuloma which is a known complication from fillers. Steroids,5-FU and other medications are used successfully here.
It all depends on how much they are bothering you as well. If all fails , then a biopsy and histologic examination might be needed.
Hope this helps!
Can a intralesional laser treatment be effective after hyaluronidase proved ineffective?
Laser for Filler dissolving
Apr 17, 2020
There are no clinical studies on that.
The options are :
-More Hyaluronidase
-5 FU
-Steroids
-Antibitoics
There are also some anecdotal reports about RF microneedling helping to dissolve threads and stubborn fillers. You might consider it as well. The worst that can happen is that you don't benefit in dissolving the filler but it would help rejuvenate your skin.
Hope this helps
Will laser in sensitive zone remove pigmentations?
Laser around private areas
Apr 17, 2020
I would be very careful in this area.
I would start with mild chemical peels and go up as tolerated.
Hope this helps.
Hyaluronidase under eyes risks and right amount of units to avoid problem?
Hyaluronidase
Apr 15, 2020
That depends on different factors. I would assume that the filler you are referring to is intra-orbital on top of bones or subdermal in tear troughs .
It depends on location , amount of filler used, and amount of correction needed.
Starting between 20-50 Units on each side is reasonable. If needed more sessions can be done.
It is the same when filling this area. You'd rather under fill or under dissolve than over doing it.
Start low and go slow applies perfectly for this...
Would I benefit from liquid rhinoplasty?
Liquid Rhinoplasty
Apr 11, 2020
The profile pic you sent is great. Liquid Rhinoplasty would help you tremendously.
The ultimate solution is surgical rhinoplasty of course. But , for the time being a little filler in the hollowness will hide the bump and smoothen out the nose profile.
This can easily be achieved with Hyaluronic acid filler.
Hope this helps.
Would my profile benefit from chin filler?
Chin filler
Apr 6, 2020
Thanks for the question.
You have a very mild chin recession. It is not severe or noticeable. It is still bother you , then a chin filler like Radiesse is a great option.
Hope this helps .
How obvious are my nasolabial folds? Should I consider fillers in the near future?
Nasolabial fold filler
Apr 4, 2020
Aesthetic is a persoanl choice. What bothers you might not bother another person in a million years. Having said that , the picture you provided is not very clear to really evaluate the depth and extent oy your NL fold. An expert will help guide you choose your choice after better in person consult.
Also consider other treatments now or in the future for NL fold as :
-Make sure you avoid the sun as much as possible
-Routine medical grade skin care regiment
- Cheek and cheek...
What is the trade mark for pcl or Polycaprolactone thread lift?
PCL threads
Mar 30, 2020
PCL threads are new to the USA market. We all have much more experience with PDO. From my personal experience, I like the PDO results better. Although, they market PCL as better lifting and longer acting , I haven't find that true in my patients.
I am sure over time we'll gain better understand ing and have better quality PCL threads.
Would filler be any good for my inner/outer corner eye wrinkles and where it would be most beneficial
Eye wrinkles
Mar 24, 2020
The short answer is yes . Fillers will soften but wouldn't erase these wrinkles completely. The dynamic component would also benefit from tiny amount of Botox. You can get around 2U on the infero lateral corner and 2U under the eye medially .
You can continue what you are doing as well. Make sure the microoneedling is deep enough. Consider RF microneedling as well. Adding PRP can help .
Make sure the products you are using are medical grade as well. Vit C is different...
Can a microcannula get stuck?
Cannula for filler getting stuck
Mar 22, 2020
The use of cannulas can be advantageous in some areas. This complication is very rare. Probably it was a subjective feeling from your friend and the injector in training. Gently pulling the cannula out should be achievable all the time. It is hard for a person in training to know what is normal and what is not. Probably, he/she felt a little resistance and though that the cannula is stuck. I am sure that the injector will be fine and gain experience with time. I applaud your friend to...
Is my face considered sun-damaged? Are lasers an option for removing facial hyperpigmentation? (Photo
Face Hyperpigmentation
Mar 21, 2020
Thanks for the question and the pics you provided.
You mentioned that it started 15 years ago. Is there anything that triggered that ??
Also, it seems you tried a lot of good treatments.
Special Lasers can be a good option sometimes but some of them could potentially make the issue worse!
Also, if it is genetic and this is the nature of your skin then it would be difficult to change that. I believe that what you are doing is at least helping in preventing the condition...
Can I get Restylane Defyne or Juvederm injected in my chin over Bellafill?
Bellafill
Mar 17, 2020
You can combibe and add fillers on top of each other with no problem. You had Bellafill recently though. I would suggest to wait a couple of months more to see final results from Bellafill. Bellafill is a biostimulant which means it might take time for your chin to stimulate collagen formation and achieve the final benefit from Bellafill. When all settles , then you can evaluate with your provider and take it from there .
Hope this help!
Good luck !
Which laser is best for my large pores and wrinkles?
Best laser for large pores and wrinkles
Mar 16, 2020
Hi,
Fractional laser ablative or non-ablative would be a great choice for what you are trying to achieve. Ablative laser would result in a little more down time but the results are usually better. You can achieve the same results with non-ablative as well over time if you undergo more sessions.
The neck and body doesn't heal as good and fast from laser as the face. The laser settings should be adjusted to reflect that. This means you'll probably need more of the less aggresive...
