Can you change your eye shape to more almond with botox and filler? Can you tighten your lower eyelid?
Botox for Eye Shape
Oct 5, 2022
It is common to use botox to change contour. However, botox works to relax muscles. It would be very difficult to use botox to “tighten” the lower eye lid. In fact, botox used in relaxing the crows feet may make eyes rounder in appearance. Using Botox to change your brow shape may give an illusion that your eye shapes are different, so that maybe something to consider.
Hopefully, this is helpful.
Do I need to dissolve all my lip filler to receive a surgical fat transfer to my lips?
Surgical fat transfer vs Lip filler: why not fat
Mar 22, 2022
Dear Philosophical999974, Thank you for sharing your photos and concerns. Some of my patients also seem to have higher rate of metabolizing fillers in their lips, and that is very frustrating. The first options are often switching to different fillers try finding one that can last longer. I am sure you have tried as well but if not, this could be a quicker fix than surgery.
Now as to using fat, there are at least two ways historically fat is used for lip augmentation. One is called dermal…
What would be the best treatment for my nasolabial folds? Fillers, tretinoin?
Solution to Deep Nasolabial Fold (NLF): what if you are young
Mar 16, 2022
Dear Sincere9280,
There are a few different things you can do to make NLF better. Hyaluronic Acid Filler is one of the easiest and most immediate ways to smooth out NLF. And it is reversible. Other dermal fillers can also work. Alternatively, you can try some tightening devices, such as radiofrequency treatments or high intensity ultrasound treatments.
It is important to understand that NLF is not a fine line. It is a fold that is created with tissue laxity, where tissue above hovers over…
Is it safe to get filler in forehead wrinkles at the same time as getting rhinoplasty?
Combining multiple procedures: rhinoplasty, fillers etc
Mar 9, 2022
Dear Rayray,
While this question is best answered by the surgeon that is going to do your procedure, we routinely combine all of those procedures in one and without increased complications. Hope it helps.
Can forehead dents be treated with ultrasound and filler?
Forehead Contouring: filler safety
Feb 28, 2022
Forehead filler can be done safely and effectively in patients who either want rejuvenation or camouflage defects. However, there are definitely zones that are more dangerous both in terms of vascular occlusion and for potential blindness. Therefore, to have an in person consultation is the key to evaluate the risk prior to treatment.
Ultrasound, as it is not a commonly used tool with filler injection, it is hard to draw any specific conclusions at this time. Ultrasound in injectors that…
Skin dents from Chin Liposuction – how do I improve them?
Neck Skin Irregularity after Procedure
Feb 3, 2022
Thank you for sharing your photos. There are a few ways to treat this problem you presented, steroids to decrease scar band, botox to decrease platysma action, filler to fill in the dents and biostimulatory filler/agent to stimulate collagen. Because of each of the modality treats a different problem, nothing is more important than having either your surgeon or another provider to see you in person for a consultation.
Do my lips even qualify for the small amount of Lip Filler?
Lip Fillers: Who is the right candidate
Jan 24, 2022
Dear Phenomenal5147, thank you for sharing your photos. What you pointed out in your lips, “lack of redness”, can also be understood as a thinness on the sides. As long as there is no medical contraindication and if you can have your goals clearly discussed with your provider, I think a little filler can definitely help you. And there is no reason why you can not start with 1/2 syringe (0.5cc).
Is there any alternatives to filler? The answer is also yes. You may try botox for “lip flip”,…
