This patient didn’t like the bump on her nose, it was deviated over to the right, and the tip looked too big. My assessment showed septal deviation to the right, a moderate dorsal hump, and a lack of tip projection. My approach to rhinoplasty has recently shifted to a closed procedure. To achieve balance, we put graft from the septum to increase the projection of the tip of her nose. Now one week after surgery, she has minimal swelling, she can breathe well, and the balance of the nose looks great. Over the next few weeks, her swelling will be imperceptible, the balance will further harmonize, but she will still be able to breathe!
