This patient has a cold sore on her lower lip that is in the beginning stages. I used laser to treat the area which helped speed up the healing process. Patient in particular would get a cold sore that lasts her 3 weeks to heal. After 1 treatment of laser inflammation decreased and scabbed before it became a blister.
