If the forehead skin is pretty mobile, when you stretch the skin perpendicular to the linear scar(s) from both sides, do they look better? I’m betting they do look better, and thats a good indicator they will respond to one or more technologies.

Yep. You’re right. Surgery IS overkill for this issue.
A couple of units of Botox into each ala where the muscles cause the lateral nose to flare, will settle your issue down for months at a time. If the tip of your nose droops when you smile, they will put a few units of Botox where the upper lip/philtrum joins the columella (upwards strut at the base of the nose ) will control that as well.

I agree with you that Ultherapy would be far from my first choice for you. Even if price was no option, you got maximal shrink-wrapping of the skin with no loss of fat and there was no pain….but that’s a fantasy when it comes to Ultherapy, so let’s look at some better options.
Botox? Hold the flat of your hands against the sides of your cheeks while you are looking in a mirror. Now clench your teeth a few times…
