The material stuck to your belly button is an antibacterial gauze called Xeroform.  At 10 days post-op I think you should be fine to remove it.  Assuming you have no drains, the easiest way would be to soak it off in the shower.  If you are not allowed to shower, you could soak the area with sterile water or saline.It looks like you have a nice early result.  Good luck!

There is a tremendous amount of variability regarding how long it takes to get drains out after TT.  Make sure you keep all f/u appts. with your Plastic Surgeon and avoid twisting and shearing movements at the waist.  That said, 3 weeks is a long time to continue drainage, and your surgeon may need to consider a sclerosing procedure, such as with Doxycycline, via your drain tube.Hope this helps.  Good luck.

It all depends on what you end goal is.  If you simply want your clothes to feel better, then SmartLipo of Power-Assisted-Lipoplasty (PAL) could be good options.  Both of these procedures will deflate or debulk your thighs, and you may be quite happy.  You will definitely have some residual skin laxity, and, if it is unacceptable, you could then have a secondary lift, which could be done much more simply and with better results that if it had been done without prior liposuction.  Both of the...

Absolutely, SmartLipo can be done after tummy tuck and liposuction.  In fact it is an excellent way to "tweak" the results.  I would only caution you to wait at least 6 months from your procedure to undergo any type of revision.  Your results will be much better.

Bruising after any surgery, including breast reduction, is common and usually takes 2-3 weeks to resolve.  You can help the process along and perhaps speed it up a little by using warm compresses (careful; don't burn yourself) and Arnica.  Good luck.  And try to be patient with the healing process.

Based on your photos, things look pretty normal for a few days post-op.  Bruising, swelling, scabbing, and crusting are all completely normal.  The fluid you are draining sounds like a mixture of serum and a few drops of blood.  If your surgeon did not use drains, then this would also be expected as well and should steadily slow down and then stop.  Good hygiene will be essential to prevent infection.  Be sure to follow your surgeons instructions.  Report redness, increasing pain, incre...

I agree that you should not be receiving Nicotine in any form (smoking, chewing, patch, gum) prior to surgery.  It takes several weeks to clear the Nicotine from your system.  I require my patients to be Nicotine-free for at least 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after surgery.  If necessary, we obtain a urine Nicotine level for documentation.  Good luck!

Not optimal, but nothing that can't be dealt with.  The area doesn't look infected, but the only way to know for sure would be to get a culture done.  Most likely you will only require some good wound care, such as twice daily cleansing with an antibacterial soap and the use of a topical antibiotic.  Make your concerns known to your Plastic Surgeon and follow his/her instructions.

In the right patient, who has excess fat under the chin and jawline, SmartLipo can make a dramatic improvement.  It is not as good in an older patient with loose, sagging and/or Platysma muscle bands.  For these patients, a neck lift is better.

SmartLipo would definitely help take some inches off your waist, but you will still be left with loose skin.  In addition, SmartLipo would not address the other post-partum change you have, which is stretching out of your abdominal muscles.  All in all I feel you would get a superior result with a tummy tuck.  You just have to be willing to accept the down time associated with the bigger procedure.Best of luck in getting your body back!

Your healing and final shape are still evolving for another month or two.  Once wound healing is complete and scars are mature you could consider a revision to improve/change the shape.  This could mean anything from a little liposuction, to fat grafting, to direct fat removal and tailoring the skin envelope.  I suggest you wait a little longer, then discuss you options with your Plastic Surgeon.
