You have mild fullness under your chin, but still have a nice jawline. In order to tuck up the skin and soft tissue centrally, you would benefit from a central deep neck lift. This is not a procedure that all surgeons are proficient at, you I would recommend finding a facial plastic surgeon who specializes in deep plane face and neck lifts for a consultation.

Unless your surgeon accepts your insurance plan, you would need “out of network” coverage for any functional (breathing) portion of a rhinoplasty. Typically, you would need to pay for the full cost of the surgery and you would get the functional portion paid back to you by the insurance.

One photograph is usually not sufficient when analyzing the nose; however, in this photograph:
1. you do have a slight up on the bridge
2. the nose plunges significantly with smiling
3. the tip appears a bit round
Addressing these areas will certainly add harmony to your other soft features. I recommend a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty to discuss your aesthetic goals in further detail.

There are many techniques to help support the nose and maintain adequate projection. A skilled rhinoplasty surgeon will be able to reduce the bridge, lift and refine the tip, as well as maintain adequate nasal projection.

The nasal tip is made up of cartilage and the standard technique for reshaping it involves cutting away some of the cartilage and/or using suturing to reshape the tip. As for the width of the nostrils, an alarplasty (resecting a wedge of the fibrofatty tissue at the lateral aspect of the nostrils) will accomplish this.

There isn’t a single surgeon who hasn’t under performed at some point in their careers and sometimes that can result in a negative review. It is also important to remember that sometimes patients can leave negative reviews without justification. At some point, it is important for you to pick a couple of your top contenders and meet with them for a consultation and use your own judgement to determine who might be the best fit for you.

A rhinoplasty is an elective cosmetic surgical procedure. It will only “benefit” you if you dislike the appearance of your nose enough to be willing to have surgery. While you have a nice nose as it is, the minor changes you are considering are certainly achievable and may help to alleviate the insecurities you have about the appearance of your nose.

There is definitely as relationship between a deviated septum and a crooked nose and correcting the deviated septum is usually the first step in straightening the nose. Additionally, lifting the nasal tip, as well as reducing the hump are standard requests and are reliably corrected by skilled rhinoplasty surgeons.

“Smoothening the bump” is the same thing as lowering the bridge. So instead of just lowering the very minimal bump that you have, a skilled surgeon can continue to lower the bridge to the desired height as determined in the pre-operative consultation.

In order to approximate your aesthetic ideal, you will need to narrow the bridge, reduce the hump and narrow and define the nasal tip and narrow the nostrils. A skilled rhinoplasty surgeon will be able to accomplish those things reliably.

It is possible to do the rhinoplasty and lip lift at the same time. Your goal for the rhinoplasty is modest and should be reliably achieved if performed by a rhinoplasty expert. Regarding a lip lift, in the last photograph you posted, you appear to have a lot of tooth show in repose (at rest with lips gently parted). This is usually considered a contraindication as a lip lift will exaggerate tooth show further. A rhinoplasty will not impact philtral length.

Most skilled rhinoplasty surgeons will take high quality medical photographs and use a software program to show you how specific changes to your nose would look. Based on this 1 photograph, your nose appears to be deviated to the left and the tip appears to bulbous and lacks definition. These issues can be addressed with a well executed surgical rhinopalsty.
