That is a great question. Many times a combination of fillers and Botox can give excellent results. For example, a filler in the midface, which can add volume and lift to the cheek area, will have the added benefit of helping the deeper wrinkles in the lower face. It sounds like you got an excellet result after your face lift. Fillers are designed to add volume to tissue that is lost in the aging process. As a result they smoothe creases and wrinkles and improve skin texture. Although theoretically possible, I have not seen a filler “stretch” the skin. Adding a filler after a facelift is commonly done, and I think this is definitely and option you should discuss with your surgeon.
