Unsure of her treatment options, this middle-aged female patient came to our office to consult with Dr. Rivkin. She expressed her concerns with the more defined nasolabial folds that had developed as she was aging. She wanted to prevent the lines from getting any deeper as well as improve the existing mild fold that had already formed. Dr. Rivkin chose to treat her with Juvederm Ultra, a smooth injectable filler that gives a temporary result. He began with just one syringe and gradually added more as the patient requested greater improvement. The final result was achieved after three syringes. Her face now appears to have the collagen and elastin that it once had and she now feels confident with her more youthful appearance.
