I would always take caution if there is a known infection. Injectables are elective procedures with real risks, and proceeding with treatment with an active infection could cause detrimental issues that are best to be avoided. I would recommend to complete your course of antibiotics and obtain clearance from your dentist and please always let your injector aware of your history. Hello, thank you for your question. It can be frustrating to have a treatment and not get the results you were hoping for, but I am glad to hear that you went back to the doctor you had been going to. Botox vials have to be reconstituted with saline prior to injection.
