Juvederm injections in the lip require a bit more time to get the final result. Juvederm is hydrophylic (Picks up water to aid in the plumping). This process along with the natural swelling form the injection process itself should take about a week to ten days. At that time you can address any concerns with your injector. Everyone is built different and sometimes elasticity is less than we want. You are young and still have a lot of working Collagen and elastin! So stimulate it! Consider subdermal ThermiTight. It stimulates your own body to bring back the elasticity. Even useful in other areas like your knees.

While I perform a modification of this procedure, there are different ways to target the bulging digastric muscles. I have often tightened the layer between the digastrics and sometimes use interlocking permanent sutures that suspend the tissue below the mandibular border from one side to the other like a sling (Giampapa suture).. I have seen recreation of the inframammary fold with a string that is slung around the shoulder and neck and supported with an Underwire bra. This works some of the time. If it doesn’t I usually wait until a mature “capsule” forms that will hold the stitches required to surgically repair it. Hope this helps you. Talk to your surgeon.

I often offer my tummy tuck patients a touch up (Mini-liposuction) around six months post surgery if they develop swelling of the area just above the scar. This is caused by the disruption of lymphatic drainage because of the surgery. It usually can be improved with massage. From the photos I feel you might benefit from a little liposuction under local. See if your surgeon will do that for you.

The platysmaplasty healing can be quite “constricting”. Since your surgeon has already injected the area with Kenalogg, I would recommend massaging that area several times a day. Especially be aggressive with the massage during a hot shower. Sometimes ultra sound can also be used to speed up the process.

I can see why you are concerned. At this point I would dissolve all the material and wait for about 3 months. Then find an injector that has lots of experience in the tear troughs. Perhaps one that injects the material at 90 degree direction to minimize the “Hotdog” appearance. You may just want to leave it alone after you get all the material to dissolve.

The photos show mild malar bags. Almost like you have lost volume from the entire area (Very common after Thyroid disease surgeries). If you ask your injector to fill the malar areas and if they are talented, they can try to treat the tear troughs as well. this will minimize the appearance of these bags but occasionally they can cause swelling and require dissolving of the filler. Depending on what type of Browlift you are getting, I recommend my patients to not sleep face down for at least 3 weeks and preferably 4-6 weeks. You do not want to cause unnecessary strain on the scars. You also need to let the forehead/ Brow heal (stick) to the new position. Hope this helps.

First of all, it is too early to be concerned about the asymmetries that I am seeing!. When you place a bigger implant in a smaller breast it can cause the muscle to tighten up a bit more and make it ride up. Call you Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and address your concerns with them. From your pictures it looks like you are healing fine. What you may be experiencing is some discoloration at certain points along the incision line from a bit of visible bruising along the stitches (Probably all placed on the inside)> There appears to be no necroses, but if you are worried as your surgeon to take a look at you directly!

Anytime a needle is involved, bruising can be seen. It will go away on its own. I know it can be embarrassing but there is nothing to worry about. If it persists more than two weeks ask your injector to see you.

Great question! Just a quick note about possibly using fat grafts to add that little bit that would make your jaw line and profile a bit crisper. You may not need much increase in projection to achieve an outstanding result. It would be helpful if you consulted with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that used a 3D imaging system. This will let you see the advantages of different options before you proceed.

While you can address the fullness of your neck with Kybella injections, Microliposuction will gibe you an immediate and more predictable result. Volume increase to your upper face would go a long way for achieving a rejuvenated look. This can been fillers or fat grafts. Some improvement with ThermiTight (Internal radiofrequency) could be expected as well.
