To date we’ve been using dermal fillers such as Hyaluronic acid and Ca++ based Radiesse in combination with RF devices like Morpheus to treat sagging skin around the mouth until Elacor came along. This strong new device treats the NLF and Jowls area around the mouth by removing up to 8% of extra skin resulting in scarless skin tightening.

Botox lip lift with botulinum like Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Xeomin or Daxxify is great for creating a beautiful lip lift. But, be aware that it lasts only about 2-3 months, and does not add volume to your lip. For that reason, I prefer lip fillers to create a lip lift with added volume that lasts for years.

When getting under eye fillers you need to know that the skin is very thin and the filler can find its way to the surface. In such cases, injecting a little hyaluronidase will open the filler which is then massaged it into place. Once you get under eye fillers I recommend to start working on thickening the skin in the area with good product as well as modalities like Morpheus and IPL.

White patches after any sort of injection whether it’s filler or dissolvent, is not a good sign. Go see your doctor right away. In the interim, massage the area and start ibuprofen to increase circulation.

Lines around the eyes can start forming in our late 20s. Under the eyes in the tear trough area it is caused by volume loss which can be replenished with hyaluronic fillers. This is particularly common in young men that don’t have cheeky bone structure. On the side of the eyes it’s caused by muscle movement of the lateral obicularis, commonly called craw’s feet. These lines can be undone with botulinum treatment like Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, Jeuveau or Xeomin.

The Nasolabial Folds are created because of loss of volume in the upper facial parameters, typically the temples and the under eyes areas. I would consult with a doctor about injecting those areas first and then very lightly go with a nice filler in the folds. If you only inject the NLF you will end up very bulky around the mouth area and not get to the bottom of the problem.

The under eye is among the hardest injectable areas. Sometimes you will need a little hyaluronidase injected to correct a little bump, or it may be tightening the skin with modalities like IPL and/or Morpheus. I wish I had a quick answer for you. But unfortunately this one is best seen in person to find out the best way to correct the situation. The good thing is you’re not looking at a surgical solution because from what I see your skin is young and healthy.

BOTOX for TMJ issues is a perfect resolution. We treat the masseter muscle with the botulinum aka Botox. As a result the area by the jawline becomes smaller, tighter and more shapely. Typically it is a beautiful side effect.

Masseter Botox is the way to go non-surgically to slim the face along the jawline. Injecting the masseter should not affect your smile. If it does, it’s because a different facial muscle may have been injected usually above the masseter muscle. I recommend going to a doctor who does many of these for the best predictable results.
