The nasolabial fold is a natural crease in the face. As we get older, our cheeks lose some volume and begin to droop. But the cheek droop stops at the fold and will tend to “pour” over the fold since that is where the cheek has to stop! Good evening rustimoosechic, I find that by about 8 days, the effects of Botox are quite apparent but there are reasons why you might not have your full or optimal results yet. You may have stronger pull from the forehead muscles that requires higher dosing. It may just be slower to take effect.
