Although the risk for fat loss or atrophy is less with the Titan treatments vs. Radiofrequency treatments, it can still occur with excessively high settings during the treatment. With proper treatment settings, the risk is very minimal with the Titan treatment.

Hyaluronidase is very commonly used to dissolve fillers in the tear trough area. I have never seen any complications from dissolving filler and have never seen it cause eye floaters.

Typically a painful lump after a PDO Thread Lift is caused by the thread buckling or curling under the skin. There are two ways to get rid of the lump. One way is to do a subcision treatment which releases the thread from the skin and allows it to unwind. Another option is to make a small stab incision to remove the thread completely and replace it at a later time. There is always a small possibility of infection particularly if the lump is warm, red or fluctuant.

It looks a normal reaction after a broken capillary treatment, particularly with the V-Beam laser. We use the ND Yag laser for treatment of the broken capillaries as there tends to be less bruising. You can use topical Arnica Gel and take Arnica tablets 3 times a day to help reduce the bruising. Vitamin K supplements may also help.

There are several fillers that can rejuvenate and fill in the hollowness in the hands. One of them is Restylane Lyft which was recently approved for hand rejuvenation by the FDA. It usually takes a few syringes per hand to see the best results.
Another option is fat transfer to the hands. This tends to be a more involved process secondary to the liposuction that needs to be done but tends to have longer lasting results.

After IPL, it is OK to take Advil, generally because it is not an injectable procedure and there is no risk of blood thinning. It is mainly important to avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (like Advil) before any treatments that make cause bruising such as Botox and Filler treatment.
What you should avoid doing after an IPL treatment:
- No sun exposure for several weeks
- Skin exfoliants
- Medicated creams such as Glycolic or Retinoic acids

It is not uncommon to see minimal improvement in the first few treatments. Sometimes the PRP helps stop hair from falling out first, before visible growth in noticed. However, patients who see the best results typically combine the PRP treatments with topical agents such as Rogaine and oral hair growth treatments such as finasteride (finasteride is for male patients only).

You are definitely a good candidate for PRP, especially since women are not a candidate to take oral finasteride. PRP treatments are one of the safest hair growth options for women. Typically a series of 6 treatments are recommended followed by several maintenance treatments per year. PRP treatments usually work better when combined with topical hair growth agents, such as Rogaine for women.

Usually, the first few weeks we use heavy moisturizer such as Aquaphor, Cetaphil and a newer healing ointment called the Alastin Recovery Balm. We recommend not to scrub or peel any of the scabs.
