I have had Botox done in my entire forehead and the area between my brows. It has been 13 days since the
the heaviness will disappear in awhile without any treatment…
Jun 29, 2015
And if the results are indeed good and you look fine, then I’d suggest no further treatment is probably the best option….and if you make note of your concerns or better yet take a picture and take it to you doctor when you return in several months for your next series of injections…nature works at its own rate…don’t think you’re likely to speed things up…good luck
What is recommended for a 22 year old to remove facial wrinkles especially forehead wrinkles?
need to speak with your dermatologist…
Jun 29, 2015
The wellbutrin is not the cause of the wrinkles…and discontinuing it should not be expected to make any modification of them unwanted creases…see your doctor and decide if botox is the answer…it typically is the best option for unwanted facial movement irrespective of age…good luck
Is Botox safe/effective to eliminate platysmal bands on a healthy & thin 32 year old in the hands of a c
interesting band…the picture shows only 1…most people with 2+
Jun 29, 2015
But as with any treatment, good outcomes result from competent practitioners…yes botox is safe and effective in treating platysmal bands…suspect you’ll need more injection sites than suggested…my huntch is 5-6 sites will do the trick…the line is relatively long so just 3 shots seems a bit low…with a conservative total amount, no complications anticipated…good luck
Botox for Bruxism. How many units?
there’s really a wide variation in how much botox is
Jun 9, 2015
Necessary to correct the problem…much moreso than with botox for cosmetic purposes…depending on a variety of factors the dose can range anywhere from 15-40 units per side with an average of somewhere in the 15-25 unit range…but realize the lower the initial dose, the more likely you are to need a follow up treatment in about a month…
Is my mole excision wound infected?
from the photo, it does not appear that you have an infection
Jun 9, 2015
Actually it looks relatively normal but shave biopsies from the lower back often look like this and take a long time to heal…probably will be another 3 weeks till the wound closes…good luck
I had Botox injections around the eye and forehead. My right eye is now “limp” and the eyelid is sagging
sorry to hear about your less than desirable outcome…
Jun 9, 2015
Unfortunately sometimes it happens…there are several issues that may be involved…interestingly there’s a difference between eyelid and eyebrow sagging with the time course and potential treatments somewhat different…and our course the pre-treatment laxity of the skin and your age makes a big difference…for many people it may be the better part of valor to avoid injections on the forehead too close to the brow…typically what you’re describing occurs on the outer portion of the…
What are the chances of Botox causing something catastrophic?
you’re in luck…
Apr 20, 2015
The likelihood of botox causing something catastrophic is nil…no war, no famine, no earthquake and no nuclear reactor meltdown…if you mean could you develop the typical minor issues…bruising, soreness, possibly slight asymmetry…all possible but definitely no catastrophic reaction….
I got Botox on forehead, brow and crow’s feet 5 days ago and now experiencing side effects. Will they ge
sorry to learn about your symptoms…
Apr 20, 2015
The question always relates to whether the type of symptoms you are experiencing relate to the botox or more likely to a non-specific, unrelated problem (for example food poisoning) possibly with emotional overtones…I suggest you call the Allergan company and discuss the issue with them…they will also ask you to re–visit the doctor who injected the material and have him fill out a form in order to compare your problem to other people treated in a similar manner…this will also…
I am a 30 year old male and would like to know if I can have botox on my chest to make it look fuller. t
remember botox is a product that relaxes muscles..
Apr 16, 2015
It does not add volume…you need to see a plastic surgeon to decide if you would be a candidate for an implant…but there are some drawbacks that you should also discuss…
Can I add volume to lower face?
you ask “can I”…but the real question is should you and the
Apr 7, 2015
Clear answer is you look great…can’t see anything that would be improved by any cosmetic treatment…your picture could be used as an example of the ideal face shape…so I’ll answer the correct question…no you shouldn’t do anything other than smile that you look so perfect…
Is it possible to develop hives after receiving 20 ccs of Botox in my forehead?
of course anything’s possible…but on the
Apr 7, 2015
Realm of probability, botox is not a product typically associated with hives / urticaria…but it can occur and is listed in the FDA approved package insert…but in the overall scheme of things…botox is an exceptionally rare cause of a very common problem…if the problem is ongoing, please see your family doctor or allergist…but the likelihood of the botox being the cause is quite small…
I’m 17 and I’ve had wrinkles under my eyes for around 4 years. Finally sick of them, what can I do? (pho
appreciate your concerns but from your picture
Apr 7, 2015
You like a normal 17 year old without any problem…I would not recommend any treatment…sometime it might be wise to discuss your concerns with your parents or a family doctor…might be wise to learn the range of normal and where you fit in…
How do I get rid of severe under eye wrinkles caused by eczema?
Emily Jane…patience is necessary…
Apr 7, 2015
When you have eczema in general and specifically under the eyes…it means the skin is hypersensitive and does not take kindly to your adding a lot of skin preparations…and certainly no lasers, peels, or other more invasive treatments are allowed…it takes a long time to heal and even once your “normal” then especially if your underlying problem is the common type of eczema that runs in families with asthma, hayfever, allergies, hayfever and childhood eczema…then there’s always going to…
I have had a mole removed by a dermatologist for biopsy and it was benign. It back!! What is the best wa
this is a very frequent phenomenon…
Apr 7, 2015
Nothing to worry about…if the mole was removed because it was a bump and that’s what bothered you…then nothing further is necessary…on the other hand if it’s the pigment that bothers you, the mole can be excised and sutured…this will remove the deeper component that fueled the regrowth…and if you’re not really concerned about it, then no action is necessary on your part…if the original report was benign, you’re clear…good luck…
What do I do to this??
suspect the really diagnosis is
Apr 7, 2015
Something beyond a simple “fibroma”…if you have access to a major medical center…that’s definitely what you want/need for a tumor like this…it may be difficult even under ideal circumstances to differentiate from a more aggressive type of tumor such as a fibrosarcoma or any of the miscellaneous relatives…but it definitely does not appear to be a simple fibroma…
