It’s always best to use your shields post surgery for at least 1 week to prevent rubbing or hitting of the eyes in the middle of the night. There may not be any signs of pain when a flap is moved however seeing your ophthalmologist is recommended immediately as they can look at your eyes under the microscope and see if the flap has slipped and therefore take care of the problem ASAP.
