What does the scalp look like immediately after surgery?
Post Op Procedure Results
Oct 29, 2019
After the hair transplant procedure you are to wear a bandage on the back of your head for the first 3 days. You do not remove the bandage. At the 3rd day the bandage gets removed and you are able to do a cup wash with grafted area. Just water no shampoo. By the 7th to the 10th day the scabs fall off. The scabs are normal and losing the hair is too. The bulb goes into dormant and hibernation stage. By the 10th to the 14th day the existing hair looks like it did before the transplant. If the …
I am not balding, can I still take DHT blockers?
DHT blockers for female patients
Oct 29, 2019
We typically do not recommend and will not Prescribe Propecia or Finasteride to our female patients. Unless they are over their childbearing years. Propecia and Finasteride will not work for the frontal area, however it will help with the crown area.
Is the hairline too conservative?
Hair Transplantation lowering
Oct 29, 2019
A lot of times We have patients come in and desire there hairline to look as it did when they were much younger. That has the result of being unrealistic and unnatural if we bring the hairline to low because it gives the illusion of appearing to fake. The hairline that your Dr drew out looks very natural and conservative. The temples can come in a bit but it looks very good otherwise.
PRP after transplant: Is it possible to damage transplanted follicles with PRP injections?
PRP Prevention
Oct 29, 2019
If PRP Treatments are done the right way you should have absolutely no loss whatsoever. Losing hair from our PRP treatments isn’t possible because it’s a natural solution. Its your own blood. It actually boosts the follicles and helps them grow faster.  There is no possible way to lose or shed more with PRP injections because PRP helps stop shedding.
What’s the average amount of grafts needed for a temporal point transplant?
Prevention vs Hair transplants
Oct 29, 2019
You are genetically programmed to hold onto the transplanted area for life. However, you may go onto loose more native hair and this is where prevention comes into play. Prevention being Our PRP treatments. I say OUR because not all PRP treatments are created equally. If you do 1 or 2 preventions, you are going to get an incredible result with your hair transplant. If you  decide to move forward with a hair transplant and you do nothing with prevention you run the risk of chasing the hair …
How long after hair-transplant procedure can I stop using Rogaine?
Prevention
Oct 29, 2019
There are two options when it comes to hair restoration. Prevention vs surgery. Even if you go forward with transplants you are going to want to continue at least one or two preventions. Reason being is because hair loss is progressive. Meaning you are never going to lose transplanted hair but you might go onto loose more native hair and that is where the prevention come into play.
Is it possible to get a minor hairline transplant at the temporal/peaks/points to frame the face?
Hair Transplantation
Oct 29, 2019
At the age of 20 years young it is still way to young for a hair transplant. This is because if you run the risk of losing more than we chase the hair by repeating transplants throughout your life and it can become costly. Prevention is first and most certainly very important.
