There are a few different non-surgical treatments that you could really benefit from but the priority would be filler. Restylane and Juvederm both make some great products that could build volume in that sunken area and give you a natural, well-rested look. A series of quick microneedling treatment around the eyes would do a lot to help minimize those fine lines and wrinkles. Finally, some Botox or Dysport in the crow's feet would help to prevent lines from developing further!

Great question! We see a lot of this in my practice and think it's best if treated sooner then later to prevent more dramatic joweling later. I find that using Syneron Candela's Profound RF device to melt the fat in the jowel then tighten the skin gives us the best and most permanent result without looking fake or puffy. Results can take up to 6 months but certainly the best and least invasive route is strategically using the Profound!

Filler complications can be difficult to diagnose without visualizing them. However, if there was some vascular compromise it would appear as dusky at first and then would appear as an open sore and can be quite painful. These are often very noticeable and can be corrected with the enzyme that dissolves the HA injected. Depending on the filler, the mass effect that it may create from its presence pressing on a vessel or nerve may lead to what you are experiencing....

It is difficult to assess the degree of asymmetry you started with from your after photos. Some before photos would be helpful. That being noted, Asymmetries are very fixable to some degree. Sometimes the injections aren't in the actual lips but the surrounding tissue that gives the pips their support.
