Is there a permanent solution to fix dark smile lines?
Melasma
May 7, 2020
Helo and thank you for your question and for sharing your picture. I am going to agree with my colleague’s comment below, this seems to be melasma. Melasma is a chronic skin disorder that results in blotchy, brownish facial pigmentation. Melasma can fade and sometimes go away, especially if the trigger that causes it is no longer an issue, such as pregnancy or birth control. However, some people can have melasma for years or even a lifetime. It is difficult to assume that there is a d...
Is there a way to reduce fine lines on the vermillion lip itself?
Lip lines
May 7, 2020
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes you may certainly treat fine lines in this area with fillers for softening and smoothing the lips. There are treatments for the lips such as Perk by Hydrafacial Company. Also, hydrating serums and balms will help To keep your lips hydrated. Best of luck.
What's the best way to soften lines on my neck?
Neck lines
May 7, 2020
Hello and thank you for your question and picture. I would highly recommend that you schedule a consultation with a board certified dermatologist for a treatment plan. However, you seem to be a good candidate for plasma pen or microneedling with radiofrequency, both modalities are collagen induction therapies that will tighten the skin and stimulate collagen. A suitable medical grade skincare regimen and daily use of SPF is essential. Hope this helps, best of luck.
Can we use at night Bioderma night peel with 15% glycolic acid when we are on Accutane?
Accutane with Bioderma glycolic acid peel
May 7, 2020
Dear Ana, Thank you for your inquiry. Accutane is a serious prescription medication and it is important for you to choose a selection of beneficial products that will impact your skin in a positive way. The products you should use while on Accutane should actively work to restore and replenish the moisture of your skin. Glycolic acid main function is to exfoliate the skin and using exfoliating agents with Accutane might cause tremendous irritation. Hope this was helpful Good luck !
What are these dark lines around my mouth and how can I treat it?
Hyperpigmentation
May 7, 2020
Hello Thrifty531297, Thank you for your question and for sharing your pictures. It is difficult to assess you without an in person consultation, to determine possible causes. However, I am going to agree with the comments below, it seems to be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which can be treated with lightening agents. I recommend you seek professional advice from a board certified dermatologist in your area. Best of luck.
How to fix these lines on my forehead?
Botox
May 7, 2020
Hello and thank you for your question and for your picture. I recommend that you schedule an appointment with a board certified dermatologist, and reputable injector. You seem to be an ideal candidate for botox. Botox is a neuromodulator, that blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. Hope this helps, best of luck.
What are those lines on my face and how can I get rid of them?
Epiduo
May 7, 2020
Hello and thank you for your question and for sharing your picture. First and foremost, don’t worry, it’s likely that your acne treatments make your skin peel and become dry and red. These are side effects that are normal, and a short-term response to Epiduo. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
I just used The Ordinary's AHA BHA peel for the first time. I am noticing many bumps have come
Skin irritation
May 7, 2020
Dear EmmLEav, Thank you for your question. Self medicating is not recommended. You might  have had an adverse reaction to the peel. An in person consultation with a board certified dermatologist in your area is recommended. Best of luck !

Are there any downsides to applying Retin-A more than once a day?
Retin-A
May 7, 2020
Dear Alces, Thank you for your inquiry. One of the reasons why retinoids are meant to be used in the evenings is because the mocule is highly unstable in the presence of UV light and it will disintegrate. Another reason will be that during the night time your hole body and skin goes to a repairing and restoring mode and using Retin A will speed up the healing process. In a long run, using Retin-A multiple times a day may change your skin making it more prone to sun damage because re...
What can I do (at-home or with a doctor) for even-toned/clear and white luminous skin?
Skin rejuvenation
May 7, 2020
Hello Pegah, Thank you for your inquiry and for sharing your picture. I would highly recommend you schedule an appointment with a board certified dermatologist for a treatment plan. A medical grade skincare regimen may include a facial wash, moisturizer, a skin lightening treatment, and a retinoid for nighttime, plus a physical SPF. Some treatments may be beneficial for you to achieve radiant and even tone skin, IPL/BBL to address UV induced hyperpigmentation and small blood vessels visible ...
Loose skin under chin. What are my treatment options?
Ultherapy
May 7, 2020
Hello and thank you for your inquiry and for sharing your picture. You may benefit from Ultherapy, an FDA non invasive therapeutic technique that targets the area deep beneath the surface of the skin, in order to generate collagen production, the protein responsible for skin elasticity. Ultherapy will also help you lift, tighten your skin and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Results build up over time 2-3 months post treatment, optimum results are 6 months post treatment....
How can I improve skin texture and profile?
Skin rejuvenation
May 7, 2020
Dear Susie7925,Hello and thank you for your question and for sharing your picture. I recommend you schedule an appointment with a board certified dermatologist to address your skin concerns and a board certified plastic surgeon for a rhinoplasty evaluation. However, for your skin concerns you can start with facial treatments such as monthly facials and hydrating treatments such oxygen facials. Resurfacing lasers to improve texture and tone. Is stopping the usage of tretinoin after your skin is cleared bad for you?
Tretinoin short term vs long term treatment
May 7, 2020
Hello and thank you for your question. An in person consultation with your board certified Dermatologist for any further questions regarding your treatment is always recommended. Generally, topical tretinoin can be both, short term and long term solution. Tretinoin is a retinoid that stimulates cell turnover that opens the pores releasing bacteria and irritants that are causing acne. In addition to that, is helping your skin to regulate its natural oil production that can prevent future br...
Best face treatment to bring my skin alive?
Skin rejuvenation
May 7, 2020
Dear Tarajoon12345,
Hello and thank you for your question and for sharing your picture. It is difficult to assess you through your picture. It’s best if you schedule an in person consultation with a board certified dermatologist in your area. However, it seems your skin has mild UV induced hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone with blotchy patches, dryness and dullness. There are a series of treatments that you can do to help you achieve more radiant and even tone skin. Resurfacing lasers to a...
