Do copper peptides actually help to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, tighten skin?
Copper peptides
Jul 5, 2018
Hello and thank you for your question.

Copper peptides have been used for years in aesthetic medicine, and are found in a myriad of facial products.

I actually use pure copper peptides combined with other additives to create custom “Peptide Facials” which have helped my patients significantly with fine lines and wrinkles. They freshen up your skin and over time help build collagen and elasticity back into your skin.

Hope this helps!

Volume

Hello and thank you for your question.

This reaction can be caused by a lot of different factors. Depending on the technique used (canula versus needle), this reaction can be from the lidocaine or depth of injection. Voluma has an anesthetic mixed into it, which some people can have mild reactions to. I would recommend following up with your injector, but more than likely this reaction will fade over the next week.

I want to improve the skin quality on my hands. They have volume but they are getting “crepey”. Wha
Combo Therapy
Jun 22, 2018
I agree with many of my colleagues. I think a combination of fillers along with IPL are a great start. I also think PRP and PDO threads can be used to elicit collagenesis.

In short, fillers for immediate results, with PRP/IPL/PDO threads for longer lasting results.

Hope this helps!

I am a 25 year old female, and I would like to lose 40lbs? I am 5’5 and weigh 170.
Weight loss and you.
Nov 30, 2017
Hello and thank you for your question.

Weight loss strategies include modifications of three key factors :
— Diet: their are a myriad of diets that work, including popular low carb diets (Atkins, south beach, keto), along with standard caloric restriction.
— Excercise: a combination of strength training along with cardiovascular training works for most people. This type of training is NOT restricted to a gym, as I have many clients in your predicament that must workout from…

Do you know the price point of Juvederm Vollure XC, which was recently approved by the FDA?
Vollure cost
Nov 30, 2017
The cost of Vollure depends mainly on the amount of filler and the cost of the injector. Generally speaking, physician injectors are more expensive, although I would recommend that you receive facial injections only from an experienced physician (as opposed to nurse injectors who, although less costly, do not have the same anatomical training necessary to correctly apply these products)
Vollure was recently FDA approved in 2017 for the correction of mild to moderate wrinkles…
Should Vollure or Restylane be in a box and opened in front of me at my appointment?
Never be in the dark
Nov 30, 2017
Hello and thank you for your question. I make it a priority during my exam and procedure to show the product being used to the patient. I open the package of filler in front of the patient, and place the needle for use. I think this is best so the patient can be certain that they are receiving the product that they are paying for.

That being said, I would highly doubt that any injector would use half syringes on their clients given that every patient is a “walking billboard” and…

Get rid of RBF!
Nov 27, 2017
Hello and thank you for your question and photo. I have many patients come to my practice and state that they have “Resting B**** face”, and they are many benefits to a non-surgical approach. Botox is a start to help with that “angry look”. By injecting Botox into the areas of the forehead, around the eyes, and glabellar lines (“11 lines”), an experienced Physician-injector can help soften these areas and give a natural and smooth result, paralyzing the muscles…
