The amount of Voluma used depends on the patient's age, volume and bone loss, and goals. As we get older, in addition to loosing collagen which causes skin to sag, we loose fat on our cheeks and bone as well. Someone who is in their 30's-40's may need on average 2-3 syringes whereas someone older in their 50's-60's may need 4-6 syringes. Keep in mind that one syringe of Voluma is only 1 ml or in practical terms only about 1/5th of a teaspoon so depending on your age and/or loss of volume in the area and what your goals are, two syringes may not be enough. Voluma is an excellent filler, but how many syringes you need can only be determined after a thorough evaluation of your facial anatomy. and your goals by a skilled and experienced medical professional.

Yes, thread lift is an excellent option for a non-surgical facelift, and great for anyone with minimal to moderate laxity of the skin of the lower face, In your case, it would help lift the skin that may be creating the marionette lines you are seeing at the corner of your mouth. You have beautiful shaped lips and since this is your first time using fillers, I woulds start you with Volbella which is a relatively new filler that is excellent to give you a little bit more volume in the upper lip and balance out both sides of the upper lip as well.

Dermal fillers are an excellent way to treat the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines. The cost really depends on where you are located, medical expert you see and how much experience they have, and how many syringes you will need.
