This is not necessarily the case with you. It is hard to trust the process, but RF treatments do cause collagen production and cause tissue retraction (tightening). I encourage you to do a side by side comparison after 6 months, hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised.

You can do Micro-needling a year after a facelift. It may be beneficial to have the effects of your facelift last longer. You will need to discontinue use of any Renton-A and Retinal a minimum of 2 weeks prior to service.

If the patient is uncomfortable or wants my opinion on the treatment, I always offer them a complimentary consultation with me so we can discuss the treatment more in depth and answer any additional questions they might have.

Not only can hyaluronic acid fillers migrate they can also expand as they break down and absorb water. I have seen many patients over the years come to me for a second opinion after getting fillers placed in the past. The most common area of migration and swelling I see is from the NLF to the adjacent cheek area. The Excel V (newer version of the Gemini laser) is a great laser for treating facial veins. Facial spider veins usually only require one treatment with the Gemini long pulsed 1064 laser and a long pulse 532 KTP laser. Diffuse erythema (Rosacea) of the cheeks is more difficult to treat and usually requires multiple sessions. The larger spider veins on the nose are usually easily treated with a long pulsed 1064 Nd:yag laser. Tiny nose veins can be very difficult to treat. They usually require multiple treatments with a 532 KTP laser. I
have not had much success treating the tiny nose veins or redness with an IPl. I would treat your nose redness with a 532 KTP laser first. Sometimes I add a Fraxel 1550 laser immediately after the 532 laser.
