I always recommend dissolving filler in the nose before rhinoplasty. I routinely do this for my surgical patients even if they have had their filler placed by a different practice. We also take new pre-surgery pictures once we think all the filler is gone.

The most definitive way to improve this would be a rhinoplasty to improve the position of the tip cartilages at rest and when you smile.

You could try a small dose of Botox to the muscle (depressor septi) which makes the nose drop when you smile. This may help very slightly for about 3 months.

You appear to be a good candidate for filler injection into the hollows above your eye. It is a challenging injection but I have plenty of experience injecting this area with a cannula for the last several years. Filler tends to last 1-2 years or more in this area. It's important to be conservative to maintain a natural appearance. We do have a couple before and afters on my own patients on our Instagram. 
What can be done to straighten my nose? Have been told it's impossible.

It is very challenging, almost impossible, to obtain a perfectly straight nose on a patient with facial asymmetry. That being said, you should be able to get some improvement and help with the imbalances that you have, if it bothers you. At three weeks after lower eyelid surgery, you definitely still have swelling. I would be patient and follow your doctor's recommendations for now. After about six months, if you still have some issues, and there is firmness in the area, injections can be used to soften any scar tissue. If the area is soft, there may be some residual fat that could be removed or repositioned.

Be patient and follow the advice of your surgeon. The dorsum may look over reduced because the tip may be more swollen then the rest of the nose.

You may be a candidate for a minor tip rhinoplasty to just correct the hanging part of your columella if you are happy with the rest of your nose. I would recommend a consultation in person to determine if you would be a good candidate for this. We need to assess your cartilage and what changes could be made. If you're a good candidate this could be a relatively easy procedure with minimal downtime.

The swelling you are seeing is definitely within the range of what to expect with any lip injections. Try to ice today and avoid heavy salt foods. You could also take some Arnica Montana to help. Your swelling should be down within a couple days at the most. It looks like you will have a very nice result once it all settles down.

The procedure is usually down under local anesthetic. After 1-2 quick injections of numbing medicine into the cheek, you should not feel anything except pressure. If you really wanted to, the procedure could be done with IV sedation or even general anesthesia to keep you even more comfortable. Talk to your surgeon about the options.

You will not affect your results at all, lying down after treatment makes no difference in results. In fact, many practitioners inject with patients laying down, while I inject with patients sitting up. In the end, the results are the same. The only thing to avoid is rubbing the muscles for several hours after injections, especially brow and forehead, as this could push the Botox into unwanted areas and affect neighboring muscles making your eyelids droop.

 You look like a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Also consider a chin augmentation to help balance your facial features if the overall size of your nose bothers you.  You may not notice a drastic difference with your nose only but I think balancing your facial features with some volume in the chin will definitely help.
