Hi there,
Minor re-shaping of your veneers is possible and you should discuss this with your treating doctor if your needs are just confined to the edges and corners of your teeth. However, major changes may not be possible. As has been mentioned before, while not always necessary, in cases of doing multiple veneers it is prudent to have a diagnostic wax up completed and presented to the patient to discuss end goals of esthetic treatment, good luck!

If you have had opaque veneers done and are not happy with the results, the definitive solution is to have them be re-done completely, it is not possible to modify veneers after they have been delivered in terms of opacity. Discuss your exact goals with your doctor prior to re-doing them so that you get a satisfactory result. Good luck!

Hi there,
In your photo you seem to be biting edge to edge and not on your posterior teeth, for a proper assessment you need to have your bite checked to see if you are a proper candidate to have veneers done. With a improper bite, you will continuously struggle with the veneer popping off and needing to be re-bonded over and over again. I'm really sorry to hear about your complication. Nerve damage with dental implant therapy can occur, but is extremely rare. There are steps that can be taken to eliminate the risk which includes careful clinical assessment of the site as well as proper imaging which includes but may not be limited to Panorex and CBCT 3D imaging. Yes they are, they look very masculine. Square tooth shape is often associated with more masculine looks and can change the character of a female smile dramatically. Rounding off the corners of your veneers may be an option, but for optimal results you need new veneers because the current shade also seems about half or one shade too dark compared to your other teeth. Not sure if this is the photographic effect but these veneers do project masculinity, good luck!

Yes you can, simply discuss your goal with the doctor and they can create a custom prescription for your veneers to incorporate the silver. Although I’m not sure why you want this, if it’s to add character to your smile, gold might be a better choice.
