Hello.

Dark pigmentation 6 weeks after treatment is not normal. I would recommend seeing your doctor and perhaps he would want to try a bleaching cream, or perhaps a light C02 or chemical peel. I would consult with your doctor first.

I would pay attention to foods you are eating and activities you are doing. Acne is impacted by a varitey of factors maybe it was a change in your diet, maybe you participated in some sort of sport/activity where bacteria was exposed. Make sure to clean your bedsheets as well along with any towels or anything that may come in contact with your face.

You can use some non-toxic aquaphor as a moisturizer. I would avoid the sun and and direct light to the area. If the redness is still there after a day or two I would follow up with the Doctor.

Following a thread lift, I would recommend waiting at least 6 weeks before considering an IPL. We don’t want to cause any unnecessary trauma or burns during the healing process.

Hey,
I’d try the C02 Fractional laser it is a controlled burn that removes scars/burn marks. This treatment burns the current scar tissue and regenerates new skin. It would require a few treatments before you see any noticeable difference in the scar but I think after one treatment you would see the effects it had. Also, it depends on the setting of the laser, so if your first treatment does not yield strong results try a second with a strong setting.
