Statement: Dr. Joshua D. Rosenberg is a double board-certified plastic surgeon in New York City, with over 11 years of experience. An expert in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery—including facial nerve paralysis and microvascular reconstruction—he offers patients cutting-edge technologies and techniques, coupled with a personalized approach to the most complex surgical procedures.
Dr. Rosenberg’s advanced training and experience cover the full range of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, from facelifts to minimally invasive cosmetic treatments like acne scar treatment and skin tightening. In addition to his private practice, he holds privileges at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is an assistant professor with the Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Department.
Dr. Rosenberg earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he went on to complete an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery, followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with Dr. Harry Mittelman at Stanford University in California. He continued his education with a fellowship in microvascular reconstruction and head and neck surgery at the University of Miami in Florida. Today, he is board-certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
A committed academic and researcher, Dr. Rosenberg frequently contributes to research projects evaluating innovative techniques in facial plastic surgery. Currently, he is leading an ongoing study determining the best surgical and nonsurgical treatments of facial nerve paralysis, as well as an investigation of the use of novel free tissue transfer techniques for lip and eyelid reconstruction. Ultimately, he hopes to help create a better understanding of treatment outcomes and tailor treatments for each patient’s unique needs. He has also published numerous textbook chapters and articles about the latest developments related to plastic surgery of the face, head, and neck.
Dr. Rosenberg is proud to use his expertise to give back to underserved communities. Throughout his career, he has volunteered with nonprofits in South America to perform reconstructive surgery on children with cleft lips, cleft palate, and other facial disfigurements.
In addition to being a diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Your goals are reasonable and achievable. I would consider a preservation approach to your nasal bridge.
Go for it, you will look great!

“Need” is challenging word here. It really depends on your goals. If having the most feminine appearance possible is that goal, then some aspects of feminization surgery may help you achieve it.
Brow/orbit reduction would likely be the most powerful procedure for you. The prominence of the brow and orbital rims is a strong subconscious indicator of masculine vs feminine for most people. Reducing this and creating a smooth tra...

Liposuction can be done in a precise manner to address the excess fat in your chin/neck/jawline with near immediate results. It is designed as a one time treatment. The recovery is straightforward and fairly quick.

Rhinoplasty is a great option, Done appropriately it can definitely add more balance to your face.
I do think adding some volume to your cheeks and mid face might help create a more balanced “look”. You may have reasons for wanting to avoid filler but volumizing cheek fillers like Juvederm Voluma and Restalyne Lyft can yield really bea...

You should expect a great looking nose that is relatively straight. But to get, there you likely need an extensive revision of your entire nasal framework (cartilage and bone). This will likely involve cartilage grafting but I will demur on the specifics as any surgeon, myself included, would need to evaluate you in person to get a true sense of what might be needed....

Good luck.

Implants are made from a variety of materials. Silastic tends to be the most popular. The procedure is fairly quick with incisions are hidden in the mouth. The recovery is usually straightforward
Not sure about the chin implant. From your photos your chin projection looks good but an in person consult with your surgeon may help cla...

I typically encourage patients to pair treatments when appropriate Although I like seeing my patients and they like seeing me (I hope), I do not think they want to visit the office repeatedly for treatments they could have had in one sitting

No, there is no way to physically “straighten” the bones without revision surgery Totally understandable if you do not want to go through the time, recovery and expense involved in this
Yes, you can correct this with a “liquid rhinoplasty”. Dermal filler can be used to shape and contour the nose. It is often a great answer for patients with post surgical asymmetries
