While it is safe to treat as early as 4 weeks if you know you will definitely need more than one treatment, your full results from the first treatment occur over the first 3 months so if you wait, you may not need a second treatment once you see your full results.

This is not overfill if it was not present immediately after the procedure. It is very common to swell in this area. While in most people it lasts one to two weeks, in some swelling can be delayed and show up months later. I would wait a few weeks for the swelling to go down. Things to help are to sleep with a few extra pillows upright and eat a diet low in salt. If this is still present in 3-4 weeks, a board certified physician can inject a tiny amount of kenolog and or hyaluronidase...

Sometimes these marks left by fractionated resurfacing will go away over the course of 1 year. I would recommend using Retin-A or Tretinoin (generic) topical cream for a few months to see if you can stimulate the collagen to grow in these areas. If it doesn't, I would recommend a light full laser resurfacing with Erb:Yag (safer than CO2) instead of fractionated to smooth out those marks.

Yes, it is normal to feel the filler post-injection. As long as you don't see it, it is best to leave as is, though a firm massage can lessen it if it bothers you. You can think of it as scaffolding holding up the skin and preventing it from wrinkling. The only time I intervene is if you can see the bumps or if it really bothers patients. Laser resurfacing is the best treatment for your cosmetic concerns. While there is a week downtime, you will get long-lasting beautiful results with erb:yag full resurfacing. While fractionated resurfacing helps, it will not give you as good of a result as full resurfacing which is safe to do with an Erb:Yag laser. One full resrufacing treatment will get you the results of 5 fractionated treatments since fractionated treatments only treat 5-25% of the skin.

NO, you will just return to how you were before the treatment. If you use it for 5 years and stop, you will likely return to how you were 5 years ago when you started IF you were using it regularly. In essence you have stopped the clock on aging for those 5 years, this is due to those muscles becoming weak and therefore unable to make the movements that worsen the lines which "age" you.

Botox and Dysport come to us as physicians as powder. We all HAVE to dilute it to make a solution and since some injectors dilute with 3 syringes of liquid while some dilute with 2 syringes, you cant go by syringe for pricing.

You can think of it as making lemonade from a powder mix, if one doctor puts 1 cup of water in the mix and the other puts 10 cups in his mix, there is obviously much less lemonade mix per cup in the 10 cup recipe (1/10th) compared to one cup from the doctor...
