It’s only a week old… the pigment will likely fade a bit if it’s just that shading that bothers you.That said, if you really want the shading much  lighter, laser could do this.  An advantage of laser is we can just treat the parts that you want removed/ lightened.Most commonly I’m removing a whole tattoo.  But fine-tuning can also be done!

When I’m going for that type of full pouty look, I generally use Juvederm ultra plus, or sometimes Restylane.I use Belotero or Volbella for filling in fine lines or a more subtle lip shaping.

The best result for loose skin with etched in lines is generally going to be a combination of treatments.  Some resufacing treatments along with strategically placed fillers will give a nice, natural, more feminine appearance.  Resurfacing with laser, peels or microneedling  will generally improve the fine lines and brighten the skin.Without seeing your midface, it’s hard to say how I would proceed with filer.  But just in the perioral area, it appears that revolumization of the chin, lips…

I’m sure Restylane SubQ would also give a nice result.I prefer Voluma on the chin and the cheeks because the data suggests it lasts the longest of the hyaluronic acid fillers.  It also seems to give the most volume and lift and gives a very natural appearing restoration of facial proportions.

I agree with Dr. Taylor completely.  In fairer skin types, IPL is the gold standard, a “slam dunk” for removal of brown spots effectively and safely.  Of course with continued sun exposure, the brown spots can return.  In fairer skin types, I generally use a few monthly sessions of IPL to clear brown spots, and encourage mineral type sunscreen daily and topical hydroquinone for maintenance.In Asian skin and darker, there is a significant risk of depigmentation (leaving a white spot or even…
Treatment for dark horizontal line on nose?

Some patients will develop a horizontal line across the nose as a consequence of allergies.  The constant running off the nose makes some patients rub their nose constantly, the so-called “allergic salute.”  This repetitive action can result in a horizontal crease from the rubbing.The best treatment for this is to control the runny nose.  An allergist could help with that.Once this repetitive action is stopped, the line should fade away.
