If you see a physician that only offers a few of those options, then that will limit your choices.  A comprehensive and experienced vein doctor should be well aware of each of the many options for treatment and be able to offer all or most of those to meet the individual patient's goals and comfort level.

It is difficult to diagnose leg veins without ultrasound imaging. I would recommend meeting with your local vein doctor. He will likely perform an ultrasound on your leg to see if there is any venous insufficiency or if it is simply a spider vein.

It is impossible to diagnose varicose veins without ultrasound imaging. I would recommend meeting with your local vein doctor for a free vein consultation. They will ultrasound your leg and determine if there is venous insufficiency. If there is, usually insurance will cover treatment at least to some extent. 
Do I have to get a CT scan previous to removing my varicose veins? My Dr suggested yes.

In the majority of cases, ultrasound is the only imaging required prior to varicose vein treatment. However, it would be difficult to determine without doing a varicose vein consultation at your local vein doctor.

Unfortunately, spider veins take time to heal. You should continue to wear your compression socks for now. The vein will likely improve in appearance by 6 weeks.

Getting your veins treated will certainly help with the discomfort you're experiencing, but like you said it is unfortunately not a permanent fix especially if you're wanting to have children. Varicose and spider veins often can develop during and after pregnancy, but not always. Venaseal is a great procedure that patients love because they don't have to wear the compression hose as much.
