I don't have any specific post botox instructions. I say thanks for coming in, enjoy it. have fun! In the past, people have had instructions such as don't lie down for 4 hours, Don't excericise, don't go on a flight etc. All of these have been proven to be unnecessary. For instance, botox doesn't migrate if you lie down after injection. Hope that helps.

Yes but carefully. Botox, by decreasing the enlarged muscles under the eye, sometimes called the "jelly roll" can open the eye aperture. It is an amazing trick that can give and open eye appearance which looks great along with decreasing the crease under the eyelash margin. Careful as it can worsen swelling under the eye if they pt has lost the muscle elasticity. A simple snap test of the lower eye can tell you if they are a good candidate or not...

I don't limit patient after botox. We used to have limits (don't lay down for 4 hours, no excercise that day). I now say "no limits"... though i do encourage them NOT to go straight to bikram yoga and stand on their head. Otherwise, no limits. Hope that helps!

TCA peels once they have denatured the keratin and other proteins and you get "frosting" self neutralizes and reaction stops. Think of it like this, once the protein in egg whites has been heated and turned white, you can't continue to turn it more white. The chemical reaction has occurred. Optimal post chemical peel treatment is under the guidance of a cosmetic dermatologist. Good luck.

I have found that best way to treat this would be with a vascular laser. Usually a 1064 nm (such as an Excel V) to get these deep purple veins. I have tried using heat with micro needles and sclerotherapy in the past and had more success with a vascular laser.

Often using both a neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport etc) and a filler can help with a glabellar wrinkle.  Sometimes it doesn't fix it completely with one treatment.  Complete correction of a deep crease with one treatment is often hard to obtain and can be risky.  The glabellar furrow will likely soften over time.  In addition, if this was a deeper crease to start with, additional small amount of filler, could help you get the look you want.  Good Luck, Dr. Myers.

Botox and other neuromodulators like this Dysport and Xeomin wouldn't help to give define cheekbones. A good rule of thumb is Botox softens wrinkles and fillers fills hollows. Some stiffer fillers such as Radiesse, Restylane Lyft or the new en vogue filler Voluma would by far be the best solution to give what some people are termed a "liquid facelift". There's no way to know exactly how many units are injected. But this is an important question because this is something I tell patients to be wary or knowledgeable of. You have to go to a provider and injector who you know is honest and trust who doesn't over dilute or another words Injects less than what they say they are injected. Go to a reputable board certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon injector.
