Is it safe to perform Microdermabrasion and LED light therapy on acne prone skin whilst on the antibioti
Re: Is it safe?
Jan 10, 2019
Hello! In response to your question, is it safe to have microdermabrasion and LED therapy while taking doxycycline, the answer is yes, it is safe. If your skin is feeling sensitive, it may be because you are using topical treatments as part of your treatment regimen. Be cautious of microdermabrasion if your skin feels sensitive as that can be pretty irritating. If your using a trentinoin (or Retin A) at night, you probably don’t need microdermabrasion at this time, as…
I need help with what’s going on with my face. If it’s damaged, how can I reverse skin texture?

Though the photos are very helpful and well done, this is a situation in which I would really like to see your skin face to face, and be able to evaluate it. Dermatology is very visual and it would enable me to give you a proper evaluation, diagnosis, and make a treatment plan. I want to partner with you to get this problem taken care of for you. You may need a prescription medication but I wouldn’t know for sure unless you come in for an evaluation. I am…
Any way to reduce eye bags, non-surgically? I have a huge problem with lower eyebags.

Non-surgical options for treating under eye bags are getting proper rest, using eye creams that contain caffeine to tighten the skin, injectable fillers, and use of concealer to make them appear less noticeable. They are not caused by a virus. The likelihood is that these are hereditary and inherited from your parents and grandparents. If the eye bags contain fat, there is an option to liposuction it out, but that’s an invasive procedure Lasers can tighten the…
What kind of laser is best for removing hair from my neck, as part of my beard? I tried before, but brok

The Gentlelase is a consistent, effective and safe laser to treat this issue. Some patients have a “hivey” type of response after the treatment. Your body is producing histamines in response to the assault on your follicles. This exaggerated inflammatory response is tough to deal with for the patient, but it’s temporary (1-3 days) and the results are worth it. The more inflammation you experience, the more effective the treatment! Comfort measures can be…
Which is better to reduce facial redness: V Beam or IPL?
Physician/Dermatologist
Jun 21, 2018
VBeam is superior for reducing and eliminating redness from capillaries too close to the surface of the skin. The heat light and energy of the laser drives the blood vessel back down into the mid-dermis where it belongs and they will not be visible anymore. It’s a 20 minute treatment, after which you may experience redness, puffiness and tenderness of the treated skin for 1-3 days. It’s critical to wear a sunscreen for at least 30 days after the treatment, as…
