JUVEDERM seldom lasts up to one year. Most likely, the amount injected has already been absorbed by your tissues. An injury to a small blood vessel could have caused a hematoma (bleeding and clotting) but even that should have disappeared after one year.I suggest that you consult a University based Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon in your area in order to elucidate this problem.

Depending on your budget and the degree of improvement you desire,  Hyaluronic acid (preferably  long acting, such as Voluma), Radiesse or Sculptra, would be quite effective. You may need  more than 1 or 2 vials at one time to get the best results.Applying sunscreeen to your face every morning may prolong the benefits of the fillers.

I recommend that you listen to your friend and not add to the fulness of your lips at this time.I would wait 6-10 months and then carefully have only or mostly the lower lip reinjected, so as to achieve the"Golden Ratio" where thw lower lip should be 1.618 thicker than the upper lip.That said, both Restylane and Juvederm are excellent lip fillers.

Ko,If the color of your hair is darker than the color of your skin, it is likely that you may get some good results even with fine hair.I would recommend that you have a few test areas treated first in a Board Certified Dermatologist's Office before signing up for a series of treatments.I would try both the Long Pulse Nd YAG and the Alexandrite Lasers on the test areas.We get quite good results on type III patients. You are referring to the tear TROUGHS, not tear DUCTS which would be blocked by the injections of any filler.The bags under your eyes appear less noticeable in the "after" picturet than in the "Before" picture.Apparently there is some improvement.I also agree with the opinion of Dr Zadeh that you need fillers in your cheeks.

How much time did you spend massaging it into your lip?Most likely the pain was due to the injection in the vermillion of the lip (Red, mucosal portion) which can be very tender.
