In my opinion laser hair removal is safe during nursing. However, we sometimes apply a topical numbing cream before this procedure. There is some absorption of the numbing cream into the circulation and potentially into breastmilk. I would recommend avoiding the numbing cream or pumping and discarding the milk right after breastfeeding if you do use numbing cream.
