There are many different kinds of chemical peels, including Mandelic acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, pyruvic acid, TCA, etc. The options can be according to your skin type and concerns, such as Rosacea, pigmentation, acne, skin rejuvenation, etc. If your concern is freckles, IPL or BBL light treatments will be more effective than chemical peel.

Hello, thanks for sharing your concern. In general, you may need 3-5 IPL treatments to see marked improvement on brown pigmentation. You can also consider combination of skin resurfacing laser( Such as Halo Hybrid) to improve more with deeper pigmentation and quicker. Please don not forget to apply sunscreen as well.

First, sun protection is the most important and basic thing to do to improve any type of new scars. Also applying scar gels(pure silicone gels) can be great to start.
