Thank you for sharing the photo. You have volume loss in the middle area of your face extending from your under eyes through the upper part of your cheeks. The best treatment for this is an injectable call Juvéderm Voluma. Usually one syringe per side is enough to brighten your under eye area as well as a lift and contour your cheeks. Good luck!

There are ways to prevent bruises after lip injections but once they are there it can take a week to resolve. I recommend warm compresses instead of ice, to encourage flushing/circulation of the trapped blood (bruise). Good luck!

At 16 hours, it’s a bit too soon to assess because swelling after Volbella can last about 72 hours. Given that your upper lip already projected more than your lower before the treatment I recommend waiting a week and possibly adding some around lower lip edges to create a more balanced, natural appearance. I agree that there is more volume and fullness on your lower face therefore I would start with enhancing and contouring your mid face and cheekbone area with Voluma. 1 to 2 syringes of this product would give you great balance and structure and still look very natural. I would also use some Botox in your upper face to balance your eyebrows since your left eyebrow is higher than your right. Good luck!

In general Juvederm ultra or ultra plus should not be used to treat the under-eye area because it is too hydrophilic, meaning it draws too much water into the tissues and risks creating a visible bubble or bag as you demonstrate in the photo. Prednisone does not help clear the bag, and steroids should not be injected into this area because there is a risk of skin atrophy. Precise injections of hyaluronidase, an enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid, works best. Good luck!

I advice against surgery as your first option. While I don’t think laser resurfacing is safe for your skin type I do think your scar would respond well to subcision and filler. Good luck!

It means that your immune system has been triggered by something that resembles the hyaluronic acid filler that you previously had. For your facial architecture and skin type, I recommend CO2 laser resurfacing followed by filler, 2-3 months after laser. This will yield max results. I’d also recommend a skin care regimen that includes a growth factor serum and hyaluronic acid eye cream. Good luck!

I agree with Dr Emer. Coolsculpting or emsculpt by itself won’t get you the long-term results you’re probably going for. Try Vaser, or high def microcannula Lipo. One treatment and done. Good luck!

Of the options you listed the halo laser treatment would be best combined with continued use of topical retin-A. With a history of AKs and that type of discoloration you’d get even better results from a fractionated CO2 treatment. Good luck!
