There’s really little downtime. You can expect redness for up to 48-72 hours depending on the settings used for your treatment. You can also anticipate texture changes to be visible for about 1 week. Makeup can be applied the next day. That’s the beauty of Opus.

The best way to determine if you are a candidate for FaceTite is to schedule a consultation with a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon who can guide you on whether the results you are trying to achieve can be accomplished with the minimally invasive therapy or if a necklift/facelift is necessary. I have had excellent results in my patients who are looking for improvement without the surgical scars or downtime.

Temporary nerve palsy can happen after FaceTite and/or neck liposuction procedures. This will resolve with time and is usually temporary. If it persists for a few months you may consider botox to help improve symmetry while its healing.

FaceTite is a newer technology that utilizes radiofrequency energy (which has been around for many years) to cause skin tightening. It is common to have hardened areas after neck liposuction and the radiofrequency energy. However it is always best to have your surgeon address the area of concern to rule out anything that is out of the ordinary. I always encourage my patients to reach out to myself or my staff if they are concerned about the healing process. Best of luck!
