Botox is great for Crowsfeet around the eyes

Botox is usually the preferred treatment for crowsfeet. However it is important to understand how Botox work and what it will and will not do. Botox temporarily relaxes muscles and helps dynamic lines (those that form with facial expression).

So when you smile after a Botox crowsfeet treatment, the area does not wrinkle up with expression. You may notice that you have some fine lines in your skin even when you are not making an expression (static lines).

These wrinkles in the skin are not generally improved by Botox….at least in the short run. However, the dynamic lines are caused by the repeated folding of the skin with expression. If you keep up with your Botox, as the skin regenerates (as it naturally does) the static lines will not form.
