Belviso Oral & Facial Surgery

Doctors

Mikhail Ruvinsky, DDS, MD

Name: Mikhail Ruvinsky, DDS, MD
Statement: Brooklyn-born Dr. Mikhail Ruvinski is a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, and runs New York Institute of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in his native city.

Patients in the New York metropolitan area see Dr. Ruvinski for surgical procedures including maxillofacial surgery, dentoaveolar surgery, implantology & bone grafting, dental implants, and cleft lip and cleft palate surgery. His practice also offers a range of non-surgical facial cosmetic services including Botox, fillers, and microneedling.

“My approach is to provide the most comforting environment possible, given the normal amount of apprehension inherent in a visit to the oral surgeon’s office,” says Dr. Ruvinski. “I take the time to give my patients all the individual attention they deserve, offering honesty and reassurance, as well as professional competence.”

Dr. Ruvinksy attended the School of Dental and Oral Surgery at Columbia University, where he discovered the oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty. He spent innumerable hours broadening his knowledge and sharpening his skills as a volunteer at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and scored in the top 1 percent on the National Dental Board examinations.

Dr. Ruvinsky continued his training in every facet of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center—one of the longest-standing and most selective such programs in the U.S.—as well as a medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Ruvinksi is training the next generation of maxillofacial surgery residents and dental students at the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he accepted a teaching position in 2018.
