Thanks for the question.  This can vary in my experience.  Some patients can experience a dramatic decrease in breast volume, but I have seen others that have very little response.  Most would suggest giving it a full year to assess the type of response.  After that you can consider TOPS surgery if there is still a substantial amount of breast tissue, excess skin, and larger areolas.  Hope this helps.

Great question, sorry you are experiencing this discomfort.  So a couple things.  Sometimes this type of thing can be from a suture that is caught around the nerve.  In those cases, its best to try and explore the area and release any suture if there is concern this is the cause.  It could also be from swelling, or from inadvertent injury to the nerve.  best thing to do is inject the area with lidocaine.  This does two things,  it works to diagnose the issue.  If the pain improves immedia...

It really depends on the surgeon, some surgeons only use drains, some only use NO drains, and some do both.  I tend to use both.  Part of the decision is the patients.  if they are worried about drains I offer drainless,  It usually takes an extra 20 minutes to do, so that can increase the cost slightly as well.  If they do not care about drains, or the surgery is more involved then just a standard tummy tuck, or if I am doing a lot of liposuction, then I will leave drains.  based your pi...

Im sorry to hear your frustrations.  This is something that unfortunately happens from time to time. Thanks for the question.  Unfortunately, if a full double incision mastectomy with nipple grafts is not performed, this can be a consequence.  In the right patient you can "get away" without not performing the double incision.  But the patient needs to have minimum excess skin and ptosis of the breast.  It relies on the skin tightening up and flattening onto the chest wall.  At 2 months out you likely still have some swelling so I would worry too much about a revision now.  At the 6 month ...
