A procedure limited to just the tip of the nose could definitely address your concerns, and is probably less likely to cause breathing issues when compared to a full rhinoplasty. It is very important that you and your surgeon are on the same page. If you find a surgeon who is unable or unwilling to make the changes that you desire, I would recommend consulting with a few other surgeons to see what the say. It would be most helpful to have an arrow pointing to the exact location of your concern, but if you are concerned about the fullness to the sides of your lips a facelift is not going to help at all. You need a physical exam by an experienced facial plastic surgeon to determine what is causing these areas of fullness as they can arise from multiple different things including buccal fat pads, normal facial musculature, poorly placed filler, etc. Good luck!

Hello, and thank you for the excellent question. In general this does not sound like an absolute contraindication to facelift surgery. Every surgeon must weigh the risks and benefits to doing a cosmetic procedure on someone. Some surgeons may feel that your immunodeficiency poses too high of a risk to justify the procedure, but other surgeons may not feel that way. I would suggest obtaining a second consultation by another surgeon.
