She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Spanish at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Mayte, then went on to complete her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Dominican University where her work was primarily focused on working with underserved Hispanic communities in Chicago. Mayte enjoys giving back to the community and has even traveled to South America as a GIVE volunteer member. During her extensive training, Mayte worked with some of the top Dermatologists and medical professionals in the nation. Since completing her medical training, Mayte has continued to actively participate in aesthetic trainings to further advance her expertise in aesthetic medicine.
