Answer Snippet
Would CoolSculpting be effective on my back fat?
100%
Feb 19, 2021
Do it. This is one of our favorite areas to treat with Coolsculpting. Results are not immediate but it should really shrink these areas down in 8-12 weeks.
Would I be a candidate for CoolSculpting or a Laser Assisted lipo?
Coolsculpting first
Feb 19, 2021
I think you're a a very good candidate for Coolsculpting. It might not "spring" back the skin 100% but I've had some pretty great results in patients like yourself. Try that first...it's much less expensive than Lipo and I think it'll do the trick!
CoolScuplting & COVID: is it safe to have treatment after the vaccine?
Very likely yes!
Feb 19, 2021
Congrats on receiving the vaccine. For every person vaccinated, that's one less "link" in the chain of transmission. So I'm happy you received it.

In terms of Coolsculpting, there honestly should be no reason to NOT receive treatment. You might want to wait a couple of days because some people do feel aches and pains after the vaccine so you wouldn't necessarily want to add a treatment when you're not feeling great. But after a few days, I saw go for it!

Can I get Botox with a bruised eye?
You’ll be good to go
Sep 24, 2020
Thanks for your question and sorry you were hurt! Ouch! In 10 days you should have absolutely no problem getting it done. That being said, you should definitely let the person treating you know that you had an injury 10 days prior. But I honestly don’t think it will get in the way!
Can you get glabella Botox before or after a hair transplant?
Absolutely
Sep 24, 2020
I would recommend that you have it done either two weeks before or two weeks after the hair transplant but absolutely. There would be no reason to not have it done. Best of luck!
Can Botox enhance my cupid's bow on already large lips?
Botox can help
Sep 24, 2020
Thanks for your question. A small amount of Botox injected in the right place can flip your upper lip and can give you the results you are looking for.
How many units of Botox would be needed to drop the high arch in left eyebrow?
Very little
Sep 24, 2020
Thanks for your question. Obviously it is difficult from one photo, but I can’t imagine you will need any more than a couple of units to lower your brow on each side or either side that was bothersome to you.
I have ocular myasthenia gravis. Can I get lip filers with this condition?
Yes
Sep 24, 2020
Thanks for your question. You can absolutely receive filler with your condition. However you should never have Botox or any of the Neuromodulating agents!
Would fillers/Botox fix the asymmetry of my face?
Filler can help
Sep 24, 2020
Thanks for your question. From the photos it looks like you could use a little bit of filler on the left side of your chin to make it look more similar to the other side. From what I am seeing, I’m not sure Botox would be necessary. Good luck!
Can I eat after getting Botox around my mouth and lips?
Yes!
Sep 24, 2020
I’m assuming you mean after the Botox has kicked in. Doing things like whistling, playing a musical instrument or using a straw might be a little different than what you are used to, but you definitely can eat.
If you are referring to immediately after treatment, yes, unless the person doing the injection has recommended otherwise
What is the best way to get rid etched crows feet and marionette lines?
Filler!
Sep 24, 2020
Filler would be the easiest and most cost effective treatment for that area. I’m assuming it looks similar on the other side so 1 to 2 syringes should do it!
How many grafts (estimate) would I need to achieve a full head of hair for my crown? (Pho
750-1000
Sep 24, 2020
You don’t have a large area here that requires filling, so I would estimate somewhere in the 750 to 1000 graft range. Do you also want to make sure that you continue what you have been using so you slow down further loss! Good luck.
Will Restylane help my under eyes?
Yes
Sep 24, 2020
I think a little bit of filler will help soften the hollowness under your eyes. That being said you want to go to someone who is experienced with treating this area. You also have a little bit of a protrusion that sticks outwards a little bit underneath your eyes. I assume you’ve had that most of your life and more than likely it is genetic. You have to be careful that someone doesn’t overfill the area or put it in the wrong place because it can make that look more obvious. So the long and...
Can I use AHA products with treclin gel?
Just be cautious about irritation
May 4, 2020
Hello! Glad to hear your acne is better but that you're still plagued by post inflammatory erythema. AHA products can certainly help slightly to modestly over time, as can topical retinoids. Honestly time will also take care of the issue for you. You CAN combine the two treatments but do so cautiously as irritation can occur. If you're using Treclin every night at this point, I'd add AHA once ore twice a week for 2 weeks to see if any irritation occurs. If not, you can add one more...
I'm 53. Is my skin too old to benefit from CoolSculpting?
In short...the answer is "no"
May 1, 2020
Hi! No, your skin is not "too old" to benefit from Coolsculpting. However, it's all about what is the most bothersome to you. If it's "contour" or shape, then Coolsculpting can help. If it's texture or the lumpiness, then Coolsculpting might not be the best answer -- in that case, then a texturing device like Exilis might be more beneficial.

But in short, no you don't have skin that's too old. Have a formal consult done by someone you trust and they'll guide you along...
