I got the vaccine two weeks ago. When can I get Botox safely?
Botox after getting the COVID vaccine
May 14, 2021
There have been no reports of patients having issues with getting Botox after getting the vaccine. You should be safe to get Botox whenever you want.
Is it okay to get Botox and the COVID vaccine a month later?
Botox and the Covid Vaccine
May 13, 2021
There have been no reports on patients having adverse reactions from getting Botox after receiving the COVID vaccine. There have only been reports of temporary swelling of areas treated with dermal fillers. With that in mind, you should be okay to get Botox injections after getting the vaccine.
What are some of the risks of microneedling?
Risks of Microneedling
May 13, 2021
In general, microneedling is considered a safe treatment. Like any treatment though, there are a few risks you may face if not treated correctly. Microneedling risks include: brushing, bleeding, redness, skin irritation, dryness, infection, or scarring.
With any procedure, whether surgical or nonsurgical, we recommend going to an experienced professional. That way you can insure that you will be properly treated and have a higher likelihood of achieving desired results.
I want to know what non surgical procedure is good for me to look younger (don’t want surgery)?
Liquid Facelift For a More Youthful Appearance
May 6, 2021
As we begin to age, it’s inevitable that our skin will change. Though there are things you can do to slow the process, you may begin to see sagging, loose skin, loss of facial volume and wrinkles. Many people turn to the surgical route by getting a facelift, but there is in fact another option.
A liquid facelift is a non-surgical alternative to a facelift. Instead of going under the scalpel for surgery, this procedure is done with the combined use of dermal fillers and botox to tighten, s...
I am 23 and I want to get rid of my face fat. Shall I go for fillers, Botox or some laser treatment?
How to Treat Facial Fat
Apr 30, 2021
Patients who struggle with chubby cheeks may benefit from buccal fat pad removal surgery. This procedure helps create a slimmer appearance to the face, improves facial contour, and reduces the round, or chubby appearance. Because incisions are made on the inside of the mouth, there is no visible scarring and the procedure takes about an hour.
As for patients who struggle with a double chin, liposuction or Kybella may be a good solution. Neck liposuction surgically removes fat cells, whereas...
Hand rejuvenation is there such a thing? What kind of treatments are available?
Hand Rejuvenation
Apr 2, 2021
A combination of different treatments individualized to the patient can be done to rejuvenate the hands. Treatments such as microdermabrasion, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and chemical peels can be used individually or jointly to treat sun damage, brown pigmentation or sun spots. Dermal fillers or fat transfers can also be used to restore hands to a more useful state.
How Much Does Laser Liposuction Cost?
What is the cost for Laser Liposuction?
Jul 25, 2019
Liposuction or liposculpture treatments should be customized to the individual, which means the cost will vary by surgery case. Cost can depend on: surgeon expertise, areas, BMI, and skin elasticity, among others factors.

What is the recovery time for laser assist lipsuction
How long is recovery after laser lipo?
Jul 25, 2019
Great question! While every patient has their own time frame for recovery, generally our patients are up and walking around day of, and back to work in a couple of days. Downtime can depend on a few things such as: liposuction area, previous surgeries, the amount of fat removed, and the patient's pain tolerance.
During your initial consultation, your provider should be able to give you a general timeline based on the surgery plan.
How much does Botox cost?
Botox Costs Can Vary By Provider
May 24, 2019
Botox pricing can be confusing - while some people charge by area, others charge by unit. At our practice we charge by unit for all of our neurotoxins. This allows us to offer full correction to baby doses of Botox, and only charge the patient for the exact amount of product they are using.
At our practice, the cost per currently is unit is $10/unit with our cosmetic nurse injectors, and $11/unit with an MD. The amount of units you need depends on the area and movement...
Is it normal for a doctor to advertise certain fillers and then not offer them, or to limit the type of
Should Injectors Offer Every Filler?
May 14, 2019
That's a great question! Not all practices offer all brands of filler. For example - some only offer Allergan (Juvederm family fillers, Botox), Galderma (Restylane fillers, Dysport) or Merz (Radiesse, Belotero, Xeo). This can be for many reasons - personal preference, availability, client demand, and to be completely transparent - cost savings. But a good injector should be aware and informed of all the fillers, and should also be able to tell you WHY they are...

Affirm and Microneedling for Burn scars
Apr 29, 2019
How old is the scar? It looks rather new, which would cause the redness from time to time. If it’s less than 6 months old, I suggest waiting to get treatment as you may find it fades on its own and doesn’t bother you as much.
We have had great success with the Affirm laser paired with Microneedling for scar reduction down the road you choose to treat it.
2 vials of Kybella swelling. Is there anything I can do to make the swelling go down more quickly?
Kybella Swelling
Apr 29, 2019
In our experience, patients tend to stay swollen/tender a little longer after their 2nd & 3rd treatments. Unfortunately, there’s no way to speed this up and every single patient is different. We suggest scheduling your 2nd treatment after your event (there’s no effect on results by pushing it out) and give yourself a good 4 weeks before any major events/photos for swelling to go down.
Hope this helps!

Kybella Concern
Apr 29, 2019
If it was Kybella that was injected - usually at 2 weeks post treatment there is still a substantial amount of swelling, so your experience with this product is extremely abnormal.
Kybella is FDA approved and is safe when used on label. It does not destroy fat in areas where the product is not injected.
Due to your reaction from what we injected we suggest following up with a advanced cosmetic injector or plastic surgeon in your area for a medical evaluation.

Getting the perfect Botox treatment
Apr 29, 2019
Based on your picture alone - it could be that Botox was placed more heavily in the middle of the forehead instead of spread out to allow even and more natural movement.
You can go in and correct this slightly, or wait 2-3 months for it to wear off.
We suggesst following up with your provider so they an evaluate you movement in person - sometimes the perfect Botox treatment takes some tweaking. Even with the best injectors!
I had Juvederm Volift 4 days ago. Is there anything I can do to heal my lips?
Extreme swelling after Juvederm
Feb 18, 2019
Swelling is a common reaction to filler injections - however if it is causing you great discomfort and pain then we suggest following up with your injector or medical provider for an in-person evaluation to rule out any infection or other adverse effects.
