Thyroid problems or no contraindication if they are under good control. As long as your thyroid function is under good control, whether you started out with an under active thyroid or an overactive thyroid, if your blood levels and symptoms are normal there is no contraindication for treatment. I am an endocrinologist. This is what I’ve been doing for the past 30 years.

How long do you have to wait to do SculpSure on the abdomen after doing 4 Vanquish treatments?

As to your specific question about how long you could wait after your previous treatments before you do SculpSure, I would suggest that you could wait forever...as in my experience less than half of treated patients give SculpSure a three star rating or above.
I wish we had better alternatives but I wouldn’t overestimate SculpSure based on online ratings. Good luck

It looks like you have some mottled subcutaneous fat. I don’t know much about your treatment alternatives but I do know that SculpSure is pretty hit or miss. I doubt that it would take out the mottled appearance, which is really not too bad based on the photo you submitted.

I had my gall bladder removed in 2016. Is it safe to have SculpSure over the scars?

I would avoid doing SculpSure over a large scar with thin skin especially if there’s a temple. However a small flat scar with surrounding fat should be an acceptable site. Please keep in mind that less than 50% of patients report a satisfactory response toSculpSure treatments.

If I have RA, can I have WarmSculpting?

You can have sculpsure if you have RA as long as you don’t not have an active flare and or a skin lesion in the treatment site. Keep in mind that less than 50% of any patients have a satisfactory response to treatment.

Still swollen two weeks post SculpSure. Should I be concerned?

I don’t think you should be concerned at this point 2 wks after treatment because SculpSure treatments are not that effective under any circumstances. I certainly have not seen a major effect in two weeks apart from possibly inducing some tenderness. If you are concerned you should see your local provider. Therefore a bigger concern would be that you don’t respond at all. SculpSure does not help with skin laxity.

We have owned this machine for over a year and find that the majority of patients do not get satisfactory results. The company that makes the machine is called Cynosure. This company is unscrupulous in its marketing approach and may incentivize online reviews to be more positive than real-world results. There is a class-action lawsuit against Cynosure regarding pain and efficacy. I also encourage patients and providers to complain to the FDA about their experience as this is how the FDA can...
