Which is the most suitable method for me in which i would be left with highest post operative corne
Corneal thickness
Mar 27, 2015
Mar 27, 2015
Broadly speaking, between Lasik and PRK treating the same RX, PRK leaves more of a residual cornea bed. However, you still need a complete evaluation to see if you are even a candidate for either procedure. Best, Dr. Yaghouti.
Can Botox cause ptosis or permanent muscle paralysis?
Botox effect on lids
Mar 27, 2015
Mar 27, 2015
Hi, I recommend that you do not get another Botox injection and go see an ophthalmologist to evaluate your eyelid function. As frequent Botox injections can lead to a frontalis muscle atrophy, it is possible that may lead to a permanent lowering of the eyebrow and the eyelids. Best, Dr. Yaghouti
Did I get touch up too soon?
Did I get touch up too soon
Mar 27, 2015
Mar 27, 2015
In my practice, I typically don't do any touch ups sooner than one week, however the amount you you had injected during your touch up is too little to make too drastic of a difference in your eyebrow position; Best, Dr. Yaghouti.

Swelling following Restylane injection in the tear trough is common, but should gradually resolve within the next week.
Will PRK surgery correct both nearsightedness and farsightedness?
Will PRK surgery correct both nearsightedness and farsightedness
Mar 27, 2015
Mar 27, 2015
Hi Dixie, You cannot be both nearsighted and farsighted, unless you are nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other eye. Some patients may erroneously term a condition called "Presbyopia" (inability to read due to a gradual hardening of the lens inside the eye with aging, typically affecting patients around the age of 40 to 45 and worsening with age) as "farsightedness". If being presbyopic is what you mean by being "farsighted', then PRK is not going to fix that. Best, Dr....
Can anything be done to avoid biofilm infection with fillers? Specifically, Restylane.
Biofilm infection with fillers
Mar 27, 2015
Mar 27, 2015
As long as your physician follows strict cleanliness guidelines for injection, there is no one particular filler that is more associated with biofilm contamination than the others. Limiting the frequency of skin puncture sites using a cannula may also lower the chance of contamination.
Does Botox improve smoker's lines and chin lines?
Botox improve smoker's lines
Mar 27, 2015
Mar 27, 2015
Botox has a small role in treating smoker's line. Botox may be used as a means to decondition the patient's habit of puckering her lips which in many is the primary reason for the formation of those lines in the first place, but it doesn't have a huge effect on eliminating those lines by itself as the amount injected tends to be very small. A more effective approach to treating those lines would be to use a combination of soft fillers along with fractional Laser or radiofrequency.
